A collection of stories
Three regency stories that are well done. I loved the first book especially, where a female art restorer was employed by a duke with a closed off heart. The editing isn’t perfect, but the storylines are all solid, and these are clean, feel good stories.August 21, 2023

Books with fun included
All three book are pleasing, but my favorite was the second. They all have a bit of humor which I always appreciate. I’m getting used to reading tenancy novels written in Modern style, though I still balk at it a bit. What really is difficult for me to understand is the horrible lack of proof readers. Names change, wrong words abound, he she me I are interchangeable, and in the first book, the gown was light purple, the red, then purple, then red in one paragraph!August 20, 2023

I loved all three books.
1. Leonie was hired to restore a beautiful painting at the Duke of Rokesby’s Castle. At first, he had a hard time accepting a working woman. However, he got over that right away. He noticed she was beautiful. However, he was angry, devastated every day, and vowed to never marry again. She saw right away that the Duke had a lot of pain in his eyes. She found out later the pain was bec he felt he was responsible for his first loves accidental death. After Leonie got lost in a severe storm, the Duke rescued her. From then on, their friendship grew, and right away, it restored his heart. I loved it from the beginning to the end. 2. Jessica had lost her father as a young baby, and now her mother died. When her stepfather died, his brother rushed to take the house and money. The uncle made it clear that Jessica was not allowed to live there anymore. Jessica moved in w her grandmother on her father’s side. Her half-brother and sister were sent away to boarding school. Since she wanted to get them back, her grandmother had her go to the London season balls to find a husband. She met Jack at the first ball. There were many things that kept them apart. Neither knew how the other felt. Her grandmother and his parents wanted them both to be w other people. The story has a happy ending. If you like Regency Love story with complications but a good ending, you’ll love this book. 3. I loved this book. It’s about a man, Ross and a woman, Julie, both loving the annual season (of matching for marriage), only to dance and party every year. Neither wants to marry. But both parents are tired of their partying and want them to marry. Both try to figure out a way out of marrying. When they met in Julie’s third season, they were both attracted to each other right away. They were enjoying each other’s company. Both were still planning to stay single. Then, there was a big complication that ruined their friendship. After Julie rejected him bec of something he had done, they both quit partying, going to balls and such. Alone in their feelings, they both stopped eating and were depressed. Ross went to bars and drank the night away. So he wouldn’t feel the loss. Everyone noticed that they were falling apart. That’s when they realized they were in love. However, she wasn’t willing to forgive at first. Then, they were both given hope by someone close to them. I can’t say much more. But there is always a good ending.August 12, 2023

Charming Stories
This is a charming trio of regency romances. Leoni was not a member of the ton. She was an art restorer who earned a living, which was an interesting twist. Jessica suffered misfortune. 3 unique and cute stories
I loved this collection of books! The stories were well written with intriguing storylines. I loved that they are clean regency romance novels. I especially liked Matchmaking with a Broken Duke. You truly got to know the characters and their history, which made them come alive. Jessica, the Viscount’s Wallflower was full of unexpected turns and surprises. The last book in the set, A Spinster for an Eligible Bachelor had a lightheartedness that I really appreciated. I found myself smiling as a read this third book.August 1, 2023

Three Ladies, Three Stories
Three stories of unusual ladies and the men that find them. Miss Delaney an art restorer trained by her uncle loved her profession. She was looked upon as unusual as women didn’t take on a profession but looked for a husband. The duke that she is working for finds her most interesting and can’t help himself in his attraction to her. She is unsure as she is not of the same class as the duke and there is a lady that is determined to make him hers. Jessica never knew her father, but she had a stepfather that adored her. The only thing was since she wasn’t a direct blood line when her mother died, she was sent away to her grandmother’s. She meets a man that she really feels a connection to. Doubt of his intentions sends her away, but she returns determined to find the truth as a benefactor has intentions of right the wrong. Julia and Ross never had intentions of marrying. However, when meeting and getting to know one another, they find themselves drawn to one another and maybe, possible. Then Julia finds out there was a wager and feels totally betrayed. Wonderful bookset. Each story stands alone and is full of challenges and amazing characters. Well written including enough drama and anticipation to keep the reader fully involved. Great collections of three books
All three of these books are well written. Each having their own issues be it romance, drama, love, suspense, intrigue, plot twists and lots of broken hearts that need mending. All the characters are strong minded whether they are good or bad. Each book keeps you reading till the end and wanting more. So curl up in your favorite chair and enjoy.
